How to sell consulting packages online, as an independent consultant rather than a firm: name three packages with fixed prices, put them on one page with a checkout that takes a deposit or instalments, add a calendar for the kickoff, and follow up by email with the people who looked and did not buy. systeme.io does all of that on a free plan at 0% platform fee. The one step it does not do is the contract, and there is a free way around that.

Productise first: three packages with prices
A proposal is a package that has not been named yet. Write the three you keep proposing anyway:
- Audit, one-off, $1,500: two weeks, a report, a call to walk through it.
- Sprint, one-off, $4,500 in three instalments: six weeks, weekly calls, a deliverable.
- Retainer, $2,500 a month: a fixed number of hours or calls, cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Fixed prices remove the negotiation call, which is where most consulting sales stall.
The page: one offer, one checkout, one calendar
One sales page per package, or one page with three sections. Each has an order form. The Audit takes full payment; the Sprint takes the first instalment; the Retainer takes the first month as a subscription. The thank-you page holds the calendar so the kickoff is booked before the client’s attention moves on. The calendar is on the free plan, syncs with Google Calendar and generates the meeting link.
Deposits, instalments and retainers
Price plans on the order form cover all three: a one-off, a set number of payments, or a subscription that renews monthly until cancelled. Money goes through Stripe or PayPal at their rates; systeme.io takes nothing. Stripe or PayPal has to be available in your country, which is the caveat that catches consultants outside the US and EU.
The contract step systeme.io does not do
There are no proposals, contracts or e-signatures in systeme.io. Send the agreement from a free e-signature tool (or from HoneyBook or Dubsado if you already pay for them) and make the deposit the acceptance step: the order form goes live to the client only after the signed agreement arrives. Clients who need an invoice or a purchase order get one from your accounting tool; the checkout page is for the ones who can pay by card.
Follow-up for the ones who did not buy
A visitor who opened the package page and left gets three emails over ten days if they gave an email for the free resource first: a case study, an answer to the objection you hear most, and an invitation to a 20-minute call booked through the same calendar. That is one workflow, inside the free plan.
