systeme.io integrations work differently from most platforms, because the tool bundles the things you would normally integrate. There is no email integration to configure, no course platform to connect, no checkout to wire up, since all three are in the account. What remains is payments, which are native, and everything outside the platform, which goes through Zapier, webhooks, or the public API.

Payment processors

Native: Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Razorpay, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago, Xendit, and cash on delivery. Stripe and PayPal cover most businesses; the others matter in India, Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. There is no platform fee on any plan, so what you pay is the processor’s rate.

Zapier

The Zapier integration is how systeme.io talks to the rest of your stack. Triggers, the events that start an automation elsewhere:

  • New optin, when a visitor submits a form
  • New sale
  • New webinar registration
  • New tag added to a contact
  • New completed campaign

Actions, the things other apps can do inside systeme.io: create or update a contact including adding tags, remove a tag, grant or revoke course access, and subscribe or unsubscribe a contact from a campaign.

The apps shown as popular connections include ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, Shopify, WooCommerce, Zoom, Typeform, Airtable, Notion, Calendly, and Facebook Lead Ads.

API and webhooks

The pricing page lists a public API, and webhooks fire on the same kinds of events as the Zapier triggers. If you have a developer, a direct integration avoids the Zapier subscription and the task limits that come with it. For most solo businesses, Zapier’s free tier covers the two or three automations they need.

What does not connect

  • No native calendar integration with Calendly or Acuity; systeme.io has its own booking calendar, and bridging the two means Zapier.
  • No native accounting integration, so invoices and bookkeeping are exported or bridged.
  • No MLS, practice management, or industry-specific systems.
  • No HIPAA or similar compliance agreement, which rules out regulated health data regardless of the technical connection.
  • No native SMS, so text messaging needs a third-party service through Zapier.

The practical answer

Most people need three connections: payments, which are native; a form or webinar tool they already use, which goes through Zapier; and a spreadsheet for reporting, which is a Google Sheets zap. Beyond that, the reason to use systeme.io is not needing the integrations in the first place.
