A lighter stack is fewer tools doing the same job for less money.
Most solo coaches, course creators, and consultants end up with a funnel builder, an email tool, a course host, a booking tool, and something for community. Each one was a sensible choice on the day. Together they cost a few hundred dollars a month and break every time one of them ships an update.
This site exists because that bill is usually optional.
How we judge a tool
We ask four questions about every tool we cover.
What does it cost once you include annual billing, transaction fees, and the plan you will actually need six months in?
What does it replace? A tool that covers funnels, email, and courses can retire three subscriptions. A tool that does one thing well still has to earn its line on the bill.
Where does it fall short? Every tool has a weak spot, and the page says what it is.
Who should skip it? Not every business should switch. Someone with a large list and complex automations has different needs than someone launching their first course.
What we are not
We are not a directory of every tool. Most shortlists here have three or four entries, and each one ends with a pick for a specific situation.
We are not neutral about price. A tool that costs $17 a month and does the job will beat a tool that costs $179 a month and does the job slightly better, for the reader this site is written for.
How the site is paid for
Affiliate commissions. When you sign up for a tool through a link here, the vendor pays us. The disclosure page says which vendors and how it works.
Commissions do not change verdicts. If a tool we earn nothing from is the right pick, the page says so and links to it anyway.
