Sales Funnel for Network Marketing

A sales funnel for network marketing solves a specific problem: the company gives you a replicated site that looks like everyone else’s and captures nothing. Your own funnel collects the email address, so the people who show interest belong to your list rather than disappearing after one click. It also separates the two audiences you actually have, customers who want the product and people considering the business, which the company page usually blends into one confusing pitch.

Two sets of rules apply. Your company’s marketing policy governs what you may claim, which names and images you may use, and whether you may advertise at all; breaking it can cost your position. Separately, income claims and health claims are regulated, so avoid earnings figures, lifestyle promises, and anything suggesting a product treats a condition. Read your policy before you publish.

Two funnels, not one

Build the product funnel and the opportunity funnel separately, and tag people by which one they enter. A customer who wanted a skincare sample and gets recruiting emails unsubscribes. Someone curious about the business who gets product promotions never hears the thing they came for.

The funnel in four steps

  1. Opt-in page. A specific, useful thing: a routine, a meal plan, a guide to choosing between products, or, on the opportunity side, an honest explanation of how the business works.
  2. Thank-you page. Delivers it and links to your company’s replicated site for the actual purchase or application.
  3. Email sequence. Four emails on the product side, three on the opportunity side.
  4. Your company’s page. The transaction always happens there; the funnel feeds it.

The email sequence

Product side: deliver the thing, then how to use it well, then your own experience with it, then an invitation to buy through your link. Opportunity side: deliver the explanation, then what the work actually involves week to week, then an invitation to talk.

The opportunity emails are where most people break the rules. Describe the work, the time it takes, and the support you give. Do not describe what someone could earn.

Building it free

The two funnels, the tagging that keeps them apart, and both sequences run on a free systeme.io account, which allows three funnels and 2,000 contacts. Your company page handles the checkout and the commission tracking, so you need no store of your own. If your company prohibits independent marketing sites, stop here and use their tools instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can network marketers use their own sales funnel?

Often yes, but company marketing policies vary and some prohibit independent pages or restrict brand use. Check your policy first.

Why use my own funnel instead of the company replicated site?

It captures no email addresses. Visitors who are not ready to buy are lost; your own opt-in page keeps them on a list you control.

Can I show income figures in the emails?

No. Income claims are regulated and most company policies forbid them. Describe the work, not the earnings.

Should product and opportunity emails go to the same list?

No. Tag them separately. Mixing the two raises unsubscribes on both sides.
