What changed
ThriveCart sold itself for years as a one-time $495 purchase with a $195 Pro upgrade. In 2026 the home page leads with monthly and annual subscriptions, and the lifetime licence is reached from a “commit for life” link that opens a $495 checkout for Standard. The Pro upgrade became Pro+, and on a lifetime licence it is reported by owners and reviewers as recurring, at around $295 a year; ThriveCart’s page does not print that number, so treat it as reported.
Lifetime or monthly
The licence beats the monthly plan after eleven months and the annual plan after about thirteen. If you will still be selling in two years, the licence is cheaper. It has no trial; third-party reviews describe a 30-day refund window, which ThriveCart’s own page does not state.
What Pro+ adds
Multiple order bumps, an affiliate center with automated payouts, crypto payments, tax-inclusive pricing, subscription upgrades and dunning, custom branding, and multi-user permissions. If you sell into the EU, the tax features are what pushes people to Pro+.
The Academy
Every plan includes ThriveCart Academy: unlimited courses and students, ten communities and two thousand members on Standard, 100 GB of video. It makes ThriveCart a course host as well as a cart.
